257 applications sumbitted for the first EUCF Call!
Great achievement for this first Call of the European City Facility! 257 applications were submitted from the 25th May to the 2nd October, involving all the EU member states and UK.
To better manage the fund available and the applications received, the EUCF countries (EU-27 + UK) have been divided in 3 Regions:
- North and West Europe (Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Sweden, United Kingdom), where EUCF will finanance up to 11 beneficiaries with this first Call;
- Central and East Europe (Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovenia and Slovakia), where again the first Call will finance up to 11 beneficiaries;
- South Europe (Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Malta, Portugal, Spain), with up to 8 beneficiaries financed through the first Call.
A lump sum of 60.000 Eur will be given to successful applicants for for the implementation of energy audits, feasibility studies, market analysis, legal analysis, etc.
The evaluation process is now started and results will be published in December 2020 / January 2021.
