Comprehensive street lighting project from the Municipality of Gunskirchen (Austria)

The municipality of Gunskirchen decided to refurbish the street lighting system to energy-efficient LED technology using EPC, since it recognised that its street lighting system required significant refurbishment work and that the technology currently in use would soon be affected by the phasing out of lamps. The main criterion for this project was to reduce electricity consumption and maintenance costs without compromising the quality of the public lighting services.
