Get support from Energy Cities for your URBACT project!

enero 22, 2024

At the beginning of 2024, the URBACT initiative has just launched a new call for Innovation Transfer Networks (ITNs). These networks aim to transfer projects that were funded under Urban Innovative Actions (UIA) to other cities across the EU, Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia.

The Vilawatt project in Viladecans (Spain) is an example of Innovation Transfer Network from the previous URBACT programme. The city managed to empower people in the energy transition, by creating a public-private-citizens partnership who developed different participatory tools and solutions. One of them was the creation of a local currency to spend in the city’s shops. Viladencas hosted the first URBAC EU City Lab on Energy Transition last November.

Three of our team members are validated URBACT experts and they are all very willing to be included in any call that you plan to submit to URBACT in 2024.

Please be aware that the experts can’t support you in drafting your application but if you wish to work with them in a project, you have to mention their names in your proposal.

Do not hesitate to get in touch with them!
