Launch of the Covenant of Mayors peer learning programme 2022-2023
The European Covenant of Mayors is launching four tailored programmes targeting those at various stages of the climate adaptation and mitigation journey: twinning, expert mission, peer review, and technical assistance. Each programme will cater to the different needs of the Covenant’s community, to increase cities & regions’ capacity to mitigate and adapt to climate change, to develop and implement ambitious long-term strategies as well as to address energy poverty.
This new programme builds on the success of the previous Covenant of Mayors twinning programme, and offers cities (including small towns and villages, and those in rural locations), coordinators and energy agencies across Europe the opportunity to take part in exchanges that will build their capacity and knowledge through peer discussions, allowing them to tackle their climate and energy challenges!
Are you a Covenant’s Signatory, Coordinator or Supporter? Do you wish to increase your skills through peer discussions to tackle your city’s climate and energy challenges? Apply before 25 March 2022, 17:00 CET!
